This third installment of the Eleme series features a variety of spells, locations, and characters.
One of the big things I wanted to do with this game was interface effects. When you're hit with a fire spell, your menu and buttons will be burning. Similar effects happen when you are poisoned, or frozen.
Another idea was to have an interactive environment. You can find hidden power-ups if you click around on some of the background objects.
I also wanted to do use the scrolling background idea from the previous Eleme. But this time it's 2D. In order to wrap, the background is repeated. There are actually two backgrounds at any given time.
This game has lots of Easter eggs. For example, one guy in the office has Kanji SMASH (another Ragnadox game) on his computer. And everything in the game ties together. Like the other guy in the office who has a picture of his family on his desk. That family is the same one you met in the Mall level. And in that level there is a wanted poster for the ninja you meet in the Dojo level. The Laboratory level is full of interesting stuff.
